Cooking with Loulou

Making marmalade with Loulou

The ultimate experience of a Greek escapade is to cook with a “mum” or “yiayia”. In the nearby “sister-hotel” Liotopi, you can cook with Loulou, the establishment’s mother figure! Once a week she rolls up her sleeves, comes out of the kitchen, and prepares all sorts of dishes and goodies at Liotopi’s yard. If you feel like joining -to learn tips of traditional Greek recipes or simply enjoy some creative time- this workshop’s for you!

Summer fruits can be the ideal materials for the marmalades you’ll be enjoying all year long. Thanks to Loulou, they can also be freshly made and delicious - plus, you will have the chance to be part of the process! A workshop that takes place at Liotopi’s yard, with all the raw materials provided by Loulou. Literally, sweet memories in the making!

Who could resist a freshly-baked, homemade cookie? We certainly can’t, and we believe you cannot as well! Visit Liotopi, and join Loulou in one of her wondrous workshops. Let your inner pastry chef emerge and enjoy a session where creativity and taste are the ingredients of pure bliss. Put your apron on and begin!

Bake your own cookies

She's the owner of Liotopi, mr. Dimitris’ sister. Loulou is short for Louloudia (the Greek word for flowers). And what a blossoming face she has! Loulou’s always willing to share her cooking secrets, talk to you about Olympiada, or even prepare you quickly that snack you crave!
